This page has guidelines about booking Carnaby Street for your event. We are able to offer a great range of entertainment options depending on your requirements, and will be very happy to offer advice to ensure your event is an outstanding and memorable one.
Carnaby Street is an exceptionally versatile band and has a great track record of delighting crowds wherever we play. However, for many events, a mix of music (including disco etc.) is required which we are fully able to provide - at the very best quality, and with full lighting and effects.
The services offered can therefore be tailored to your needs as required, whether it be a corporate function, private party, wedding or a public event. We can cater for the majority of indoor events with our in-house equipment (including sound engineer), and can easily arrange for an external sound system to accommodate large outdoor shows.
Here are examples of the main entertainment options we offer:
1. Band only, two sets of 40-45 minutes plus encore.
2. Band plus disco (1950s to 2000s music, with live DJ or pre-recorded, MP3/CD format).
3. Band plus authentic 70s disco (all vinyl, all styles).
4. Band + mixed MP3/vinyl disco.
Our fees vary depending on the type of event, set-up/finish times, distance travelled, music format, equipment required (including sound engineer if necessary) and so on.
The dress style of the band is in-line with the music we play (60s/Mod/New Wave), but can be adjusted to suit an event as required.
We generally require a minimum of 5.5m stage frontage, 3.5m depth, two mains sockets for most indoor events and changing/refreshment area for the band.
